VOER is a program supported by the Vietnam Foundation (VNF) to help bring high quality and up-to-date textbooks and learning materials for Vietnamese students, faculty members and self-learners. VOER is organized as an online repository where anyone can contribute some content called module (equivalent to a 2-3 page article about a specific topic) and some others can link those modules together in a certain way to create a textbook or collection. The modules and collections/textbooks are published under Creative Common BY license so users can make change to them to fit with their needs. If everyone just contributes only one module, the repository will have millions of modules and from that many more textbooks/collections could be created. This will definitely help solve the textbook/learning materials problems for Vietnamese users. Your contribution of small modules will make the big changes for Vietnam's education!

A lens is a custom view of Connexions content. You can think of it as a fancy kind of list that will let you see Connexions through the eyes of organizations and people you trust.

Lens makers point to Connexions materials (modules and collections), creating a guide that includes their own comments and descriptive tags about the content.

Who can create a lens?

Any individual Connexions member, a community, or a respected organization.
